"B" as in Beautiful. "B" as in Bali.

Beach day today. I grabbed a taxi and asked to be taken to dreamland beach this morning. I was dropped off at another beach instead but it's cool, it was an awesome beach, Suluwan Beach. I had a wonderful breakfast and watched people surf from the hilltop balcony. After I relaxed a bit I walked out, and headed towards Padang Padang Beach. I learned today that there's a lot of locals on their motorbikes looking for tourist that are walking to give them rides. Also known as "ojeks" just locals trying to make some money. Public transportation in Bali is practically non-existent. In Bali you either A) rent a motorbike and drive it everywhere ($3.50 a day!) B) get a taxi (blue bird company is the best) or C) hire a private driver. I would have totally rented a motorbike to get around but the roads here are super confusing and I only have wifi connection for internet so I would probably lose a lot of time getting nowhere. Also I can't get hurt on my first week abroad! I have 28 days to go, I'll leave those adventures for the end;) 

Anyhow I forgot the name of the breakfast nook above but it was delicious :P

When I got to Padang Padang beach I felt a tear roll down my face. Happy tears. Why is our earth such a beautiful thing? I live for the views and the natural sceneries our Mother Earth has to offer. Thanks again Bali Gods. 





The sun was very bright most of the time so my camera couldn't quite capture what my eyes saw (there's another excuse for you to come, you're welcome) 

My last stop was Uluwatu Temple. The temple is build on the edge of a 70 meter cliff by the sea. "Ulu" means edge and "watu " means cliff, hence the name. The views are absolutely amazing and I came right before sunset, so the view was even better. This is where I wish a had a DSLR camera ( I need to stop saying that and just invest!) 








My feet are so tired and I am feeling some blisters coming on (please pray with me that they don't) I've been walking an average of 5-7 miles a day. Tomorrow I will definitely focus on taking care of my physical body- massages! 


Interesting  tid-bit : I've noticed an overwhelming large amount of Mexican restaurants in Bali... which is so interesting to me. I googled it but didn't get many answers ( also didn't spend too much time digging anyway) I've never seen such a big influence of Mexican food in a country so far away from Mexico. It's pretty cool. Some restaurant names I saw just to name a few, " El Kabron" and "Chichis" ( insert laughing emoji here).

Twin lagoon. Oh boy was it hard to pick what Islands I would explore. I had been waiting to visit this beautiful side of the world for soooo long and I kept putting it off because the planning for it is difficult. If you love nature, beaches, waterfalls, cheap food and learning about a new way of life this is a must country to visit. Koyo

"Before it's your favorite place, it's a place you've never been " It is Koyo ( the changing color of the leaves, autumn) season! I have always loved the fact that Oregon gets 4 seasons. Japan gets four seasons as well! The bright oranges and reds are just incredible here. I have been revisiting some of my favorite spots around my new town to see how they change with the seasons. Okinawa Get-Away

" Travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer"-Unknown Heart shaped rocks in Oki Well I finally checked off one of the prefectures I wanted to visit off my list. Okinawa, Japan it has been called the Hawaii of Japan by many tourists. I have been to Hawaii and I agree that it is the paradise of the country. I went with my friend Anna and a new friend that made (friend of Anna's) Ben. We rented a car and three different AirBnB night accommodations while we were in Okinawa, at it was the best decision we made because we got to see everything we wanted to see! Granted the Island is not that huge but still, we checked off our lists.  Rainbow and unicorn bagels at Caracalla. Our first stop was Caracalla bagels, and boy was I glad we got our hands on these colorful bagels...because they had the last 3 when we got there! They sell out everyday and we went on a Thursday thinking we wouldn't have that issue. Phewww that was close. Lowkey (thanks Ben...
