Sapporo, Hokkaido Yuki Matsuri ( Winter Snow Festival)

Two weekends ago I went to the 69th annual Sapporo Snow Festival up north in Hokkaido. It was something so unique and very cool (literally), although it was surprisingly much warmer up there than it currently was here in my hometown. Sigh the snow. I have been doing everything to try to enjoy it more. I was lucky enough to go, since I decided I would check out the festival 2 months before ( This was almost too late considering it is a festival that attracts millions from all over the world every year) Everything was booked and I was lucky enough to find a round-trip ticket that worked with my schedule and a cute hostel walking distance from the festival. I arrived and got a limousine ( I know sounds fancy right? but it is just a large bus) bus ride to downtown Sapporo! I dropped off my stuff and headed to the susukino.
